Hannah Montana’s Disappearing Act

So apparently, Hannah Montana is not only bald, she’s nowhere to be found!

The Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert movie, to be released on February 1, is meant to encapsulate the fun and joy that so many young fans missed out on when they were unable to attend the concert tour due to scalpers. Turns out, Disney (and Bob Iger) is hell bent on gaining SO much money that they’re willing to alienate and disappoint their fans. The movie has a release run of one week. You heard me. One. Whole. Week.

The search for tickets is turning out much like the search for tickets for the concert tour. AND, to top it off, if fans don’t pay exorbitant prices to get tickets now, they most likely will never see the Hannah Montana tour.

“Disney declined to comment on why the movie is out for only a week and would not say whether the film’s run would be extended or if it would be released on DVD.”

So, for as much as I appreciate both Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus, I believe it’s about time I boycott Disney. And not because they’re being controversial.
